Eight Point Two

We had two great days of weather for the events over the last weekend. The picture above is of the O2 and Ventura riders who have taken on the Challenge of cycling from London to Paris. Over the weekend we had our 1st get together. Not all the cyclists were able to make it but the 31 who did had a briefing on what to expect on the main trip and also a chance to have a spin out on their bikes. We did 52 hilly miles on Saturday and 30 more hilly miles on Sunday. Sore legs and bums no doubt this week but a good preperation for the fun to come! Just 3 weeks to go and we will all (nearly 70 people) be heading down to London to start the 4 day trip!

We also provided support for the Marie Curie Peak Distict walk on Sunday. Glorious sunshine was the order of the day for the intrepid hikers who started out from Edale and walked a great circuit around the valley skyline whilst taking in a few notable climbs.
